World Information Society Day 17 May 2012

Community Details Community Day was announced to be on 17 May by a United Countries General Set up image resolution, following the 2005 Community Peak on the Details Community in Tunis. The day had formerly been known as Community Telecom Day to honor the beginning of the Worldwide Telecom Partnership in 17 May 1865.

It was made by the Plenipotentiary Convention in Malaga-Torremolinos in 1973. The major purpose of the day is to increase international knowledge of social changes introduced about by the Web and new technological innovation. It also goals to help decrease the Electronic split.
